Dr. Paul Etchison
Dr. Paul Etchison was born in the city of Joliet, Illinois. He spent his childhood growing up in Lockport and graduated from Lockport Township High School. Continuing his education, he graduated from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, with a bachelors of science and a minor in chemistry. Dr. Etchison then attended the University Of Illinois College Of Dentistry where he was awarded his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree along with a bachelors of science in dentistry.
He distinguished himself while in dental school with the Howard Kubacki Award for Clinical Excellence. Dr. Etchison was one of the ten students who were chosen, based on clinical skills, to spend half of his senior year working at low income clinics in the Chicago area instead of working in school. During this time, he did residency in three pediatric clinics in Chicago. Dr Etchison is very passionate about his profession. He loves the science of dentistry and has traveled all over the nation to continue his education and learn from the best in the field. He is certified in 6-month smile orthodontics as well as Invisalign clear removable aligners. He is also certified to perform oral conscious sedation and administer botox. He has a received the Fellowship in the International College of Oral Implantologists in 2013. He also received his Fellowship award in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2016. This award is only held by about 7,000 active dentists. It is received by taking well over the minimum state requirements for continuing education and passing a written exam. Dr. Etchison also sits on the board of the Chicago Chapter of the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Etchison resides in Frankfort with his wife, Joanna, and their two daughters Briella and Alyssa. He enjoys playing golf, music, and reading. He would also be happy to admit, that he loves dentistry!
Dr. Etchison is active in the community and participates in many mission trips to help those in need. His most recent trips include visits to Costa Rica and Guatemala.

Dr. Kathy Pycinska
Dr. Kathy joined the Nelson Ridge team in 2015. She grew up in Munster, Indiana. She received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Purdue University, after which she attended Indiana University School of Dentistry where she earned her doctorate of dental surgery with high distinction. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Pycinska elected to continue her dental education by completing a one-year, general practice residency at the VA Medical Center in Indianapolis.
Dr. Pycinska feels strongly about donating her time for the advancement of her profession as well as the benefit of her patients and community. While in dental school, Dr. Pycinska was recognized for her work in dental materials research with the Procter & Gamble Award for Excellence in Preventive Oral Health Care and the Academy of Dental Materials Award. She also spent a week in Port Margot, Haiti, where she provided dental care to hundreds of adults and children in need. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society and Chicago Dental Society.
Dr. Pycinska is committed to providing patient-centered care in a comfortable and caring atmosphere. She believes that every patient should be equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed decisions about their oral health. Dr. Pycinska always takes the time to educate her patients about proper dental care in order to help them achieve long lasting results.
When she is not working or volunteering, Dr. Pycinska enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, reading, Pilates and cooking. She is getting married to her fiancé, Jack, in 2016.
Dr. Pycinska is also an active member of the community and participates in mission trips to help those in need.
